Florida Gulf Coast University
760 acres campus was founded in 1993. This 4-year college offers degree programs
in education, business, health professions, liberal arts, protective services.
It is accredited by the Commission on Colleges of the Southern Association of
Colleges and Schools (SACS). Florida Gulf Coast University currently serves
over 7,253 graduate and undergraduate students. Students benefit from small
class sizes and dedicated teachers who bring to classrooms the inspiration,

Edison Community College
was inaugurated in 1962. Today, this College serves over 15,000 credit and nearly
3,000 non-credit students with its 340 professional and support staff members.
The campus in Lee County campus serves the citizens of Hendry County. Its 140-acre
campus has twenty-four permanent structures including the Barbara B. Mann Performing
Arts Hall. Edison College offers the following Associate in Science Degree Programs
and certificates: Accounting Technology, Business Administration and Management,
Cardiovascular Technology, Computer Programming and Analysis, Crime Scene Technology,
Criminal Justice Technology, Dental Hygiene, Drafting and Design Technology,
