The Clarence E. Anthony Branch (South Bay) Library serves the areas of South Bay and west to the Hendry County line and south to the Broward County line. The 4,000 sq. feet Library opened in May of 1992 and forms part of The Palm Beach County Library System. The Clarence E. Anthony Branch along with The Palm Beach County Library System contains over 1,000,000 items and you'll find books, magazines, newspapers, films, videos, CDs, DVDs and information experts.

Hundreds of periodicals through IAC are available to patrons of the library system. Its growing collection of African American and Spanish materials has been added to meet the needs of diverse populations. The Clarence E. Anthony Branch meeting room holds a capacity of 25 people. Children have access to games as well as to Encarta Encyclopedia and Encarta Africana Encyclopedia. In addition, the branch provides computers for word processing. In addition, the branch has a computer to help adults learn to read.
